If you’re Canadian like me, you’ve probably heard your UK friends rave about Primark and wondered what all the fuss was about. We don’t have Primark here at home, so when I found out there was a location right near Walt Disney World, I knew I had to make it a priority to check it out on my last trip.
Where Is Primark Near Walt Disney World?
Primark is located at the Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets, 8249 Vineland Avenue, Suite 2201. It’s actually located just across the street from the outlet mall itself, connected by a crosswalk and close enough to easily do both in one stop.
I go to the Vineland outlet on my trips sometimes, so I already had a sense of the area. But, given how directionally challenged I am, I worried about how close Primark was going to be to the main outlet mall and if I would find it at all. If you’re wondering the same thing: it’s very close and easy to navigate. I had my Lyft (or Uber works too) drop me off at Primark first, then simply walked across to the outlet mall afterward.
What’s on the First Floor
Here’s something worth knowing before you go: when you first walk in, the ground floor is all regular clothing with no Disney merch in sight. Don’t worry – it’s close by!
The first floor has a surprisingly large selection of men’s and women’s clothing. I looked at dress pants, dresses, athletic wear, plus umbrellas, purses, and t-shirts. I was actually surprised to spot some novelty tees in the mix, including Real Housewives shirts. The pricing on everything felt decent for what you’re getting.
Where Is the Disney Merchandise at Primark?
Head up to the second floor and you’ll find all the Disney merchandise you want: ears, bags, purses, t-shirts, mugs, baby clothes, suitcases; they really had it all. I didn’t even post all the pictures or the merchandise I took, there was just too much.
I spent quite a bit of time here sending pictures of things to friends of things I knew they would like.
Given the timing of when I was there, I feel like the store had been picked over a little bit and the Disney merch had not been replenished yet. It’ll be worth re-visiting on my next trip to see what they have.
What I Bought at Primark
Confession: I was almost a little relieved that they didn’t have my size in some of the clothing items I loved, it saved me some money! But I did walk away with a few things:
- A pale blue t-shirt with a little castle graphic that says “Meet Me at the Castle”
- A Ratatouille mug that says “Anyone Can Cook” because I’m a bit of a mug collector, if you’ve read my post about my mug collection it will make sense. And also, I can’t cook.
- Some hair ties and hair accessories, which I spotted near the checkout on the first floor (that’s also where you’ll find the cash registers, by the way, the checkout is back downstairs, not upstairs)
Should You Add Primark to Your Disney Trip?
Yes, yes, yes! For those of you coming from the UK or even other places in the United States that already have Primark, you may not be as impressed. But for this Canadian gal, it was well worth it for me. I recommend going if you’re doing the outlet mall anyway, it’s right across the street so why not? It is different merch than you get in the parks and decent pricing too. One of the PhotoPass photographers complimented me on my shirt, and when I told her it was Primark we had a great conversation about all of the Disney stuff we saw there.
