Beginning on April 10th, Disney’s FastPass+ system is being enhanced (finally!) to make it much more flexible for us when we’re in the parks.
The two big changes:
1. We can now book fewer than 3 selections at a time. This is great because sometimes I just want to book the 7 dwarfs mine train and don’t want to select my other two. Once before I randomly selected the additional two and when we went to change those, we accidentally deleted the mine train!
2. We can now book a new fastpass when we’ve used our first 3 all via the app! The app will allow you to book additional fastpasses one at a time. For example, once you’ve used your first 3, you can book a 4th. Once you’ve used the 4th you can book a 5th. Depending on the timing of your fastpasses – you could be maximizing your time in the parks really efficiently! This makes it so much easier than finding a kiosk to grab your next one.
I’m excited about these changes and updates. I wonder if Disney will hold some of the fastpasses and release them later in the day to accommodate the number of people who will be booking them after they’ve used their first 3. This would be a great way for them to control the crowd flow in the parks.
